Background:
Zócalo is a food truck park that hosts events and popups during the summer and offers private event space and friendly Greenhouse rentals during the winter. The website aimed to promote these events and rentals while making it easy for users to access the food trucks' Cashdrops. The secondary objective was to collect an extensive database of customer emails for email marketing.
UX Design:
To ensure a great user experience, the website was designed with a mobile-first approach, as most of Zocalo's target audience would likely access the website on their phones. The website is designed with a simple and modern aesthetic, with plenty of white space to keep the user's attention on vital information. The website's primary navigation menu was kept minimal and focused on the main areas of interest: Events, Rentals, and Food Trucks.
UI Design:
The website's UI design was consistent with the UX design, with a modern and minimalist approach. Bold typography was used to draw the user's attention to the most essential information, such as upcoming events and rental options. High-quality photos of the food trucks and the park were also used to give users a sense of the experience they could expect when visiting Zocalo.
Webflow Development:
The website was developed using Webflow, a powerful no-code website builder that allowed for fast and easy development. The website was optimized for speed and performance, with clean code and efficient asset management. Webflow's CMS efficiently managed the website's content, including upcoming events and rental information.
Results:
The website successfully achieved its primary, secondary, and tertiary goals. The website's promotion of events and rentals resulted in increased attendance and bookings, while the easy-to-use Cashdrop feature made it simple for customers to order food from the food trucks.
